The three major U.S. stock indexes all closed down collectively, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average falling by 1.68%, the Nasdaq falling by 1.43%, and the S&P 500 Index falling by 1.36%. Most large-cap tech stocks declined, with Intel rising more than 2%, AMD rising more than 1%, Amazon falling more than 2%, Google, Meta, Apple, Microsoft, Tesla, and Oracle all falling by more than 1%, while Nvidia closed slightly lower.
