The National Electricity System Operation Report Analysis Meeting and the Joint Meeting on Grid-connected Power Plant Cyber Security Management were held in Beijing in 2026.

On March 16, the National Energy Administration held a meeting to report and analyze the operation of the national power system in 2026 and the joint meeting on the security management of grid-connected power plants. The meeting summarized the work of power system safety in 2025 and during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, analyzed the situation and challenges faced by power system safety in the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, and studied and deployed key tasks for the "15th Five-Year Plan" period and 2026. He Yang, member of the Party group of the National Energy Administration and deputy director, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The meeting required all units to thoroughly implement the important exposition and instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on safety production, conscientiously implement the deployment of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on safety production work, accurately grasp the situation and challenges faced by the safe operation of the power system during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, resolutely guard the bottom line of power system safety, comprehensively strengthen the foundation of system safety management, actively explore a new situation in power safety governance, solidly carry out the key tasks of risk control in power system safety during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period and 2026, accelerate the modernization of the power safety governance system and governance capacity, and build a solid security barrier for the construction of a powerful energy country.
