A reporter asked about the so-called "nationality" issue of Lee Chen-hsiu, a non-constituency representative of the People First Party, who is being manipulated by the Mainland Affairs Council. Spokesperson Chen Binhua stated that the Democratic Progressive Party authorities repeatedly manipulate the household registration issues of Mainland spouses and their children, deliberately confusing household registration issues with the so-called "nationality" issue. Their purpose is to suppress and persecute Mainland spouses, depriving them of their legitimate rights and promoting the "two-state theory."
