Global high-precision long-term freeze-thaw data set released, new progress in frozen soil remote sensing monitoring.
According to the Aerospace Information Innovation Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, in recent days, the Remote Sensing and Digital Earth National Key Laboratory of the Institute, in collaboration with Beijing Normal University and many other domestic and foreign research institutions, has made significant progress in the field of frozen soil remote sensing monitoring. The research team successfully developed and released a global high-precision long-term frozen-thaw dataset, which systematically achieves continuous, fine, and long-term observations of the frozen-thaw process, especially in the Tibetan Plateau region.
