According to Hainan Daily, on March 17th, the Hainan Provincial Party Committee held a special meeting to hear a progress report on the preparation of the 6th China International Consumer Goods Expo and the 2026 Hainan Free Trade Port Global Industry Investment Conference, and to discuss and deploy the next step of work. The meeting emphasized the need to strengthen the linkage of exhibitions, coordinate and promote key events such as the 6th Consumer Goods Expo and the Global Industry Investment Conference, and to showcase to global investors the investment opportunities, preferential policies, and business environment of the Hainan Free Trade Port. It also urged to attract more foreign investment through practical measures and enhance the overall effect of the exhibition.
