Apple's Chief Operating Officer Sabih Khan appears in Shenzhen.

Today, Apple's Chief Operating Officer Sabih Khan and other executives made an appearance in Shenzhen, visiting the Apple application research laboratory in the Shenzhen Futian Bonded Zone in the morning. The laboratory, which was put into operation in 2024, is Apple's newest application research lab in China. It is located near Apple's important production and assembly base in China, allowing close collaboration with nearly 200 surrounding supplier partners. The speed of sample operation between suppliers and the Shenzhen application research lab can be as fast as one day. It is reported that Apple executives will also visit multiple supply chain manufacturers located in Shenzhen, marking the first visit to China by Apple executives in 2026.
