Fudan University will launch two innovative colleges in the fields of Digital China and Aerospace Powerhouse this year.

The president of Fudan University and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Jin Li, revealed in an interview that this year Fudan University plans to closely follow the national strategies of "Digital China" and "Aerospace Power", and will launch two new innovative colleges. Jin Li stated that the humanities are the flag, "old roots", and core competitiveness of Fudan, and must be strengthened and refined. This year, efforts will be made to enhance the construction of new humanities disciplines. The humanities are not shrinking, but transforming, developing, and upgrading.
