Micron Technology has started mass-producing HBM4 memory for NVIDIA.

On March 16 local time, it was reported that Micron Technology announced that its HBM4 production line has started mass production and shipment in the first quarter of this year. The first batch of products is a 36GB 12-layer stacked version, specifically designed for the Vera Rubin platform. The company stated that HBM4 provides approximately 2.3 times the improvement compared to the previous generation HBM3E, with a power efficiency increase of over 20%.
