On March 16th local time, the Chinese head of the Sino-French High-Level Economic and Financial Dialogue and Vice Premier of the State Council, He Lifeng, met the French head of the dialogue, the French Minister of Economy, Finance, Industry, Energy, and Digital Sovereignty, Bruno Le Maire, after the China-U.S. trade negotiations in Paris. They exchanged views on recent Sino-French economic and financial cooperation and issues of common concern. He Lifeng stated that China is willing to work with France to implement the important consensus reached between President Xi Jinping and President Macron, further deepen exchanges and cooperation in various economic and financial fields between China and France, and promote long-term stability and development of the economic relationship between the two countries. He Lifeng also briefed on the China-U.S. trade negotiations. Le Maire expressed that France highly values cooperation with China, and is willing to work together with China to promote practical cooperation in the economic and financial fields between the two countries and achieve greater progress.
