On March 16th, Xiaomi founder, chairman and CEO Lei Jun released a video on Weibo stating that if he were to go back 5 years, he would still choose to make cars. Lei Jun said that 5 years ago, everyone said making cars was difficult. After conducting a lot of research, he found that making cars was indeed not easy. Therefore, he made thorough preparations. Initially, making cars was a bit simpler than he had imagined. However, as the process progressed, he realized it was becoming increasingly difficult and challenging.
