The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and two other departments issued a notice on carrying out the pilot work of comprehensive application of hydrogen energy. By 2030, hydrogen energy will be widely applied in various fields in urban clusters, with the average price of hydrogen for end users falling below 25 yuan per kilogram, striving to reach around 15 yuan per kilogram in some advantageous regions. The national stock of fuel cell vehicles is expected to double compared to 2025, striving to reach 100,000 vehicles. By expanding the scale of application, it will promote breakthroughs in hydrogen energy application technology, processes, equipment innovation, achieve iterative upgrades in fuel cells, electrolyzers, storage and transportation equipment and materials, and promote hydrogen energy to become a new economic growth point, supporting the comprehensive green transformation of economic and social development.
