Analyst Guo Mingxi's latest supply chain survey shows that after NVIDIA invested in Groq, LPU shipment forecasts have been significantly raised. It is expected that the total shipment volume for 2026 to 2027 will reach 4 million to 5 million units. In order to maintain the ultra-low latency advantage in the inference decoding stage, NVIDIA is expected to increase the number of LPUs per rack from the current 64 units to 256 units. The new architecture racks are expected to begin mass production in the fourth quarter of this year, with rack shipments in 2026 and 2027 expected to be approximately 300 to 500 and 15,000 to 20,000 units, respectively.
