The Ukrainian Ministry of Energy and the Ukrainian National Electricity Company jointly announced on the 14th local time that Russia launched a large-scale attack on Ukrainian energy infrastructure in the early hours of the day, causing power outages in multiple regions. The announcement stated that the attacks mainly targeted energy facilities in Kiev city and Kiev region. At the same time, other energy facilities in many areas were also damaged due to continuous shelling along the front lines. As of the early morning of that day, seven areas including Kiev city, Kiev region, Kharkiv region, Dnipropetrovsk region, Cherkasy region, and Kirovohrad region experienced power outages. As a result of this attack, the Ukrainian National Electricity Company was forced to temporarily adjust the duration and scope of the scheduled power limitation measures for the day.
