In the spring of 2026, the volume of goods entering and leaving the Yangtze River main line during the Spring Festival reached over 4 billion tons.

According to the Yangtze River Navigation Administration of the Ministry of Transport, during the 40-day Spring Festival travel rush, the throughput of goods entering and leaving the Yangtze River main channel exceeded 4 billion tons, an increase of 6.33% compared to the same period in 2025; the number of passengers reached 7.33 million. During the Spring Festival travel rush, there were no general or above-grade waterway traffic accidents on the Yangtze River main channel, achieving the goal of "safe, convenient, and pleasant Spring Festival travel."
