U.S. Senator Tillis commented on Judge Boasberg's dismissal of the grand jury subpoena against Federal Reserve Chair Powell: "This ruling confirms that the criminal investigation against Chairman Powell is weak and meaningless, just a failed attack on the independence of the Fed. We all know how this will end, the D.C. U.S. Attorney's Office should cut their losses and stop further embarrassment. Appealing this decision will only delay the confirmation process for Kevin Wash to become the next Chairman of the Federal Reserve."
