Russia accuses Britain and France of participating in the Briansk missile attack and demands a public statement.
On the 13th, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the British and French ambassadors to Russia to strongly protest the Ukrainian army's use of cruise missiles produced by the European Missile Group to attack the city of Bryansk in Russia on the 10th, and demanded that Britain and France make a public statement and condemn the attack. According to a statement released by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the attack resulted in 7 deaths and more than 40 injuries. Russia accused Britain and France of directly participating in this "act of terrorism" during the negotiations, believing that without the involvement of British and French experts or the provision of intelligence to the Ukrainian side, the missile attack could not have been carried out. The statement also said that the attack was aimed at sabotaging current efforts to peacefully resolve the Ukrainian crisis. If Britain and France continue to support the Ukrainian military actions, they should bear responsibility for the escalation of the conflict and its consequences. Earlier, the Ukrainian military claimed that Ukraine had launched several "Shadow of the Storm" cruise missiles to strike a military factory in Bryansk, causing serious damage to the production facilities.
