Wuhan Housing Provident Fund Management Center: It is strictly prohibited for illegal intermediaries to handle provident fund business.

On March 13th, the Wuhan Housing Provident Fund Management Center issued a statement declaring the strict prohibition of illegal intermediary agencies handling housing provident fund business. Recently, some illegal intermediaries have changed their methods, using free consultation and compliant handling as promotional tactics, and have been posting illegal advertisements on vehicles in large office locations and residential parking lots such as Zhongnan Road and Yuejiazui. In order to effectively maintain the order of housing provident fund management, the following declaration is now made: all contributors are advised to increase their awareness of risks, not to trust, not to participate in, and not to entrust any intermediary agency to handle housing provident fund withdrawals. Housing provident fund withdrawals must be strictly conducted in accordance with policy regulations; any behaviors of withdrawing provident funds through fabricated reasons or falsified documents are illegal and against regulations. All contributors, especially public officials, are solemnly reminded not to trust the false advertising of illegal intermediaries, and not to attempt to withdraw provident funds through illegal means with a mentality of luck. In case of any violations, the illegally withdrawn funds must be fully returned within the specified period, and the relevant information will be reported to the contributor's unit and the discipline inspection department. Additionally, they will also be placed on a list of serious misconduct for joint punitive measures.
