The People's Government of Minhang District, Shanghai Municipality issued the "Action Plan for Co-building Shanghai Advanced Energy Equipment Industrial Agglomeration Zone". It proposes to promote the industrial agglomeration of future energy achievements conversion, focusing on key technologies such as core technology research and development of fusion energy and industrial transformation, accelerating the research and development of key technologies such as overall design of fusion reactor, high-temperature superconducting magnet, digital fusion reactor, establishing a high-temperature superconducting magnet-constrained tokamak fusion large scientific device and fusion intermediate technology industrialization platform, and promoting fusion technology towards small-scale commercialization. It aims to promote the "laying eggs along the way" of fusion energy technology research and development resources, encourage the application of technological achievements in fields such as medical, new materials, and high-end equipment, cultivate diversified industry growth points, and create a fusion energy industry innovation highland with global influence.
