The People's Government of Minhang District, Shanghai issued the "Action Plan for Collaboratively Building Shanghai Advanced Energy Equipment Industry Agglomeration Area." It proposed to follow the development concept of "12345," taking into account the consolidation of the current advantages of the energy industry and the future technological layout, clarifying the core development direction of the industry, and strengthening the support measures for industrial development. "1" focuses on the goal of developing leading industries worth hundreds of billions, "2" focuses on the two key directions of advanced energy equipment and green low-carbon, "3" focuses on enhancing the advantages in three areas of clean and efficient power generation, advanced power grids, and photovoltaics and solar thermal, "4" focuses on cultivating four future energy industries including fusion energy, hydrogen-based energy, long-term energy storage, and new green technologies, "5" includes five measures such as strengthening the leading enterprises in the industry chain, increasing the cultivation of high-quality enterprises, promoting diverse scenario applications, optimizing industrial ecology, and enhancing park support.
