Google is showcasing the largest navigation interface redesign in over a decade. This upgrade utilizes Google's multimodal artificial intelligence model Gemini. The newly introduced "Ask Maps" feature is an AI-enhanced tool that allows users to ask more complex, realistic questions, such as finding a tennis court with lighting, or a hair salon specializing in curly hair. The system combines reviews, website information, and photos from various sources to provide results.
