Chao Chi Group: The progress of the optical communication project is smooth and is expected to drive industry upgrades.

ChaoChi Technology announced that the company plans to invest no more than 500 million yuan each in December 2024 to build a laser chip and high-speed optical module project. Currently, the high-speed optical module project has been put into use in a nearly 50,000 square meter intelligent manufacturing base, with production of 200G and below being standardized, 400G/800G entering small-scale production, and 1.6T entering the research and development stage; the laser chip project has completed the production line, with 25G DFB and below completing trial production, some chips progressing in research and development as planned, and Micro LED light source chips entering the verification testing stage. The projects are in line with strategic planning, but face market risks in the initial production stage.
