In terms of supply, the bottling factory is continuing to increase production after the holiday. The 750,000 ton unit in Sanfang Alley is planning to restart around mid-March, while another 250,000 ton unit was shut down for maintenance at the end of February. The 1.2 million ton polyester bottling unit in Jiangyin, owned by China Resources, was shut down for maintenance in mid-January and has restarted in early March. In terms of demand, domestic terminal operations are gradually recovering and spot transactions have increased. In general, the prices of polyester raw materials have been rising continuously, boosting the price of bottling. Additionally, shipping costs have surged, leading to significant increases in bottling export prices, causing some factories to halt sales. It is expected that in the short term, the price of bottling will continue to trend strong following costs, and attention should be paid to geopolitical situations and changes in shipping costs.
