Tree planting report for the year 2025 released.

March 12th is the 48th Arbor Day in our country. On that day, the National Afforestation Commission Office released the "Greening Status Report of China's Land by 2025", which showed that by 2025, our country will continue to promote large-scale land greening actions. The country will complete the creation of 3.563 million hectares of forests, restore and manage 4.927 million hectares of degraded grasslands. The forest coverage rate will reach 25.09%, the forest and grassland coverage rate will exceed 56%, the forest stock volume will reach 20.988 billion cubic meters, the total output value of the forest and grass industry will be nearly 11 trillion yuan. The foundation of green water and green mountains will be more beautiful, and the quality of gold and silver mountains will be higher. In 2025, our country successfully held the 24th Republic Arbor Day Ministerial event. The central and state organs had 94,000 officials and staff members planting 340,000 trees as part of their duty. 3071 "Internet + National Obligatory Tree Planting" bases were established across the country, receiving over 33 million participants, encouraging everyone to participate in tree planting as a social norm.
