The foldable iPhone will adopt a similar interface to the iPad when unfolded.
The soon-to-be-released foldable iPhone from Apple will include updates to the iOS operating system, allowing for the first time a layout similar to an iPad and multitasking with split-screen functionality, enhancing the device's appeal for multitasking. According to insiders, this long-awaited foldable screen product from Apple will feature an internal foldable screen of approximately the size of an iPad mini, as well as an external screen similar to a small-sized iPhone. The internal screen will be designed with a wide aspect ratio, different from the narrow screen form of current foldable phones on the market, which will be a core selling point. Apple is under pressure to prove that it can inject new vitality into this form. This foldable iPhone is expected to be released in the fall of this year, seven years after Samsung Electronics launched its first foldable screen phone, one of Apple's main competitors. Insiders say Apple's design aims to make the device more suitable for watching videos and make it easier for developers to redesign iPhone apps to make them more similar to iPad software.
