For example, on March 9, the Fujian Provincial Department of Commerce announced on its official website that in order to implement the central government's measures to boost consumption and expand service consumption, they have decided to issue the first phase of "Fujian Delicious Food" restaurant consumption vouchers for 2026, in accordance with the provincial party committee and government requirements. Hong Tao, Vice Chairman of the China Consumer Economy Society, said in an interview with reporters that the announcement of new rounds of consumption vouchers in many places is the result of policy guidance and the needs of the people, which will help stimulate consumer spending, activate the spring economy, and further promote the expansion and improvement of the consumption market. In terms of this round of benefiting the people, the issuance of consumption vouchers in many places shows two main characteristics: a significant subsidy amount and targeted distribution.
