Apple releases the most affordable notebook in its sales history, with a post-subsidy price dropping below 4000 yuan for the first time.
The iPhone 17e and MacBook Neo will officially go on sale on March 11th. The two products released this time have also broken Apple's previous price bottom line, both priced below 4000 yuan after national subsidies. A staff member at an Apple store in downtown Shanghai told reporters that the official price of the MacBook Neo is 4599 yuan, and the price after national subsidies is equivalent to an additional 15% discount, making the price only 3909 yuan. However, the overall configuration of this laptop is much lower than other Apple series laptops, for example, the chip used is a mobile-level A-series chip instead of the M-series chip used in other Apple laptops; the display has also been downgraded to a 13-inch Liquid Retina display. "But for users who only use the computer for daily work, there is no significant difference," the staff member told reporters.
