Several domestic airlines in our country have further optimized some of their involuntary flight change and refund policies on Middle Eastern routes.
Reporters learned from multiple airlines that, affected by the local situation, in order to assist passengers in better arranging their travels, Air China, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, and Shenzhen Airlines, among others, have further optimized some of the involuntary refund and change regulations on certain Middle East routes. For tickets with unused itineraries with travel dates between February 28, 2026 and May 31, 2026, and purchased or exchanged before 3:00 p.m. on March 10, 2026, and meeting the required conditions on the relevant routes, passengers can handle involuntary changes or refunds for unused segments at the original purchase channel within the ticket's validity period, with no service fee for refunds or first changes. Passengers can inquire about detailed refund and change policies and handle transaction procedures through the airline's official channels.
