Apple increased its iPhone production in India by about 53% last year, with flagship devices currently accounting for one-fourth of its total production. According to sources, by 2025, Apple will assemble around 55 million iPhones in India, an increase from the previous year's 36 million, rapidly increasing its share in total production. Apple produces around 220 to 230 million iPhones globally each year. As part of its long-term supply chain strategy, Apple is deepening and expanding its cooperation with local suppliers to produce components including lithium-ion batteries, watches and phone shells, as well as accessories like AirPods.
