Research from Omdia shows that the shipment of smartphones in Southeast Asia will reach 100 million units by 2025, a decrease of 1% year-on-year, mainly due to the weak performance in the first three quarters dragging down the overall market. However, the region will see growth in the fourth quarter of 2025, with shipments increasing by 2% year-on-year to 25.8 million units, ending the downward trend for three consecutive quarters and showing an improvement in market momentum at the end of the year.
