France said it is prepared to use strategic fuel reserves to stabilize the market.
French Economy Minister Lescure attended the G7 finance ministers meeting in Brussels on the 9th and stated that the French government is "prepared to use strategic fuel reserves." Lescure stated that currently, the fuel supply in France has "not been affected in terms of quantity." He pointed out that 97% of gas stations in France had received supplies that morning. Lescure also stated that France currently has strategic reserves that can cover about 118 days of fuel consumption, indicating that the reserves are sufficient.
