US stocks of precious metals, aviation, and cruise companies collectively fell, with Coeur Mining falling by over 7%, Newmont Mining falling by over 5%, and Pan American Silver falling by over 4%; United Continental Airlines fell by over 7%, Delta Airlines and American Airlines fell by about 6%; Carnival Cruise Lines fell by over 8%, Royal Caribbean Cruises fell by over 7%.
