During the National Two Sessions in 2026, Yao Liqiang, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and the founder and chief technology officer of Ningbo Jiangfeng Electronic Materials Co., Ltd., suggested that private enterprises should be deeply involved in the construction of national innovation platforms. He proposed the formulation of specific supportive policies, implementation of training programs for private enterprise researchers, and the awarding of national honors to leading talents in private enterprises. He also suggested the establishment of a special fund for technological innovation in private enterprises within the ultra-long-term special national bonds, allowing private enterprises to play a greater role in the new national system.
