On March 6, a reception for Chinese and foreign women to commemorate International Women's Day was held in Beijing. State Councilor and President of the All-China Women's Federation, Shen Yueqin, delivered a speech. Shen Yueqin pointed out that General Secretary Xi Jinping extended holiday blessings and wishes to women, fully demonstrating the Party and country leader's high attention and care for the development of women's cause.
