Cambodia's prime minister said he will resolutely eradicate telecommunications network fraud.

On March 6th local time, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen stated that the Cambodian government will take the most resolute measures to eradicate telecommunications network fraud, completely drawing a clear line with such activities. Hun Sen mentioned that Cambodia is in the process of drafting specialized laws against telecommunications network fraud, and will specify corresponding penalties. Any individuals who rent out properties to unlawful groups engaged in telecommunications fraud, recruit personnel for telecommunications fraud activities, or work in related roles at telecommunications fraud hubs will be held legally responsible.
