On March 6th, at the economic-themed press conference of the Fourth Session of the Fourteenth National People's Congress, Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao stated that during the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan" period, China's per capita consumption GDP will increase from $10,000 to $13,000, and household consumption will show a trend change. Traditional consumption will shift from scarcity to high-quality, green, and low-carbon consumption. In terms of structure, service consumption, especially experiential consumption, is growing strongly, with an average annual growth rate of 10.4% in service retail sales from 2022 to 2025.
