Wang Chuanfu: The range of many electric vehicles has already exceeded that of fuel-powered cars, but people still have range anxiety.
BYD second-generation blade battery and flash charging technology conference held, BYD Group Chairman and President Wang Chuanfu delivered a speech.
Speaking of why half of the users still prefer gasoline cars over new energy vehicles, Wang Chuanfu said the core issue is that there are still some experiential problems in the first half of electrification that have not been solved well, causing people to have concerns when choosing new energy vehicles.
"Because refueling is fast and you don't need to worry about the size of the fuel tank, but when it comes to electric vehicles, the situation is completely different. Many electric vehicles now have a range that exceeds gasoline cars, but people still have range anxiety and pay attention to the battery capacity or range when buying electric vehicles."
