On March 5th, Zhang Yuzhuo, director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, stated at the first "ministerial passage" of the Fourth Session of the Fourteenth National People's Congress that central enterprises have cumulatively completed investments in strategic emerging industries totaling 7.4 trillion yuan over the past three years, with the proportion of their total investments increasing to 42%. Last year, the revenue of strategic emerging industries exceeded 12 trillion yuan, forming five trillion-level industries.
