Zhou Yunjie, a National People's Congress deputy and Chairman and CEO of Haier Group, said in an interview at the Great Hall of the People that the policy of replacing old items with new ones has a good driving effect on the consumption of household appliances. However, companies cannot rely solely on the "two new" policy and need more technological innovation. Not only do they need to develop more new products, but they also need to create more consumption scenarios, requiring some revolutionary innovations to lead consumer demand.
