Due to the lack of clear and effective screening and treatment methods, the incidence of autism in children in China is more prominent compared to other congenital diseases. In response to this situation, Hu Chengzhong, a national People's Congress representative and chairman of Delixi Group, proposed encouraging economically strong provinces and cities to appropriately increase the subsidy standards for the rehabilitation of children with autism. He suggested removing unreasonable restrictions on applying for subsidies and changing the way "household registration and welfare are bundled" so that families with autistic children who have been working, living, and paying social security in the local area for a long time should be included in the subsidy distribution range.
