Natural gas futures prices in the United States fell below $3. With global energy price pressure easing, market attention is turning back to weather factors. It is expected that temperatures will rise next week, followed by a cold air push in mid-March to increase demand. Eli Rubin of EBW Analytics stated in a report, "From a fundamental standpoint, New York Mercantile Exchange natural gas is currently not affected by global supply disruptions as liquefied natural gas exports are operating at full capacity - its price may soon decouple from oil prices and trend lower." Nymex natural gas futures for delivery in April fell by 4.1% to $2.929 per million British thermal units. Dutch TTF natural gas futures fell by 13%.
