In just 5.3 seconds, China has once again set a new global record for short-distance maglev acceleration, reaching a speed of 800 kilometers per hour.
The research and development team at the Donghu Laboratory in Hubei Province has broken the global record for short-distance magnetic levitation acceleration twice in the past six months. At the high-speed magnetic levitation test line, they witnessed the birth of an extreme number. With the propulsion of electromagnetic force, the test vehicle accelerated from a standstill, reaching a top speed of 800 kilometers per hour. It took only 5.3 seconds for the test vehicle to reach a speed of 800 kilometers per hour. The world record for a similar platform has been broken once again.
