On the afternoon of March 3rd local time, a pedestrian bridge collapsed on the beach of Santander El Bocal, a city in northern Spain, resulting in at least three deaths. Another person was seriously injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. The local emergency center received an alert around 4:45 pm local time, indicating that there were seven people on the bridge when it collapsed. All seven people fell into the water, with three confirmed dead, one seriously injured, and three others missing. The cause of the incident is still unknown.
