Li Jihui, a national People's Congress representative and vice chairman of the Guangdong Provincial General Chamber of Commerce, said that Guangdong is a province with a large consumer population, and the consumption subsidy policies have achieved good results, effectively stimulating consumer enthusiasm. He suggested that the consumption subsidy policy should be further optimized and implemented, such as directing the funds for old-for-new subsidies to provinces with faster expenditure progress and higher pulling ratios, supporting consumer provinces to expand the scope of old-for-new programs, and driving the iteration and optimization of consumer goods nationwide. He also mentioned that promoting consumption should focus on developing emerging sectors, such as low-altitude economy and aviation sports. Low-altitude consumption is gradually becoming a new growth point, and he recommended that Guangdong orderly open low-altitude consumption pilot programs, leading the way in building a low-altitude consumption service system and nurturing related industrial ecology.
