The National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference helps in scientifically formulating the "15th Five-Year Plan", with more than 480 proposals submitted.

The press conference of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Fourth Session was held this afternoon, with the spokesperson Liu Jieyi introducing the relevant information of the conference to both domestic and foreign media and answering questions from reporters. Liu Jieyi stated that assisting in the scientific formulation of the "14th Five-Year Plan" is an important task for the work of the CPPCC by 2025. The CPPCC has held special meetings of the standing committee on consultative and deliberative activities focused on key decisive factors in economic and social development during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, important theoretical and practical issues that need to be addressed in China's modernization construction, evolving trends and strategic tasks on the new journey. The CPPCC has extensively solicited opinions and suggestions from members, conducted in-depth research and proposed more than 480 proposals, submitted over 200 pieces of information, and published 55 issues of "CPPCC Research" on advising the "14th Five-Year Plan" to the leaders of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, providing important references for formulating the "14th Five-Year Plan".
