Amazon Web Services (AWS) has stated that during retaliatory strikes in Iran, its data centers in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates are facing power and network connectivity issues. Amazon reported on its status page that two cloud region zones in the UAE experienced power outages. AWS stated that one region in the UAE was affected because an "object" hit the data center, causing sparks, fires, and subsequent power cuts. The cloud service provider has advised customers to rely on their services in other regions and added that they expect recovery to take "several hours" (Al Jazeera).
