This year, the No. 1 document of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee requires strengthening policy incentives, and promoting the employment and income increase of migrant workers through measures such as rewards and subsidies. On March 2, the No. 1 document of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee "Opinions on Accelerating the Comprehensive Revitalization of Rural Areas and Creating a New Situation in Modernizing Agriculture and Rural Areas" was officially released to the public. On the same day, the Sichuan Provincial Government Information Office held a press conference to introduce and interpret the content of the No. 1 document. Quan Xiaofeng, Deputy Director of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, introduced at the meeting that by 2025, Sichuan Province will have 26.01 million migrant workers, including 10.32 million working outside the province and 15.69 million working within the province, achieving a total labor income of 761.2 billion yuan, and the overall employment situation of migrant workers is stable. Outside the province, employment is mainly concentrated in the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta regions, with Guangdong, Zhejiang, and Fujian ranking among the top three provinces; within the province, employment is mainly concentrated in the Chengdu and South Sichuan regions, with Chengdu, Mianyang, and Yibin ranking among the top three cities; migrant workers in Sichuan Province are mainly concentrated in the manufacturing, construction, and other service industries.
