Recently, the security situation in the Middle East has been rapidly evolving. On March 1st, oil tankers near the Duqum port and the northern coast of Oman were attacked. In order to respond to the current situation and ensure the personal and property safety of Chinese citizens and institutions in Oman, the Chinese Embassy in Oman reminds everyone to: strengthen their awareness of security precautions, avoid any sense of luck and complacency. Keep a close eye on the surrounding environment and security situation, avoid approaching military targets, armed personnel, and sensitive facilities. Be cautious when planning travel. Oman has not yet closed its airspace, flights are still operating but may be subject to changes, with limited availability of tickets at high prices. Chinese citizens planning to travel should check flight information in advance, pay attention to notifications from airlines and airports, and contact airlines promptly for the latest flight updates, arrange personal travel plans accordingly, make adjustments in a timely manner, and be conscious of travel safety.
