Ericsson and Intel collaborate to accelerate the move towards the era of commercial native AI 6G.

Ericsson and Intel integrate the leading advantages of both parties in the next-generation technology field, helping the ecosystem to be fully prepared and achieve a seamless transition to the deployment and application scenarios of native AI in 6G. This cooperation is an extension of the decades-long partnership between the two parties and was officially announced at the Barcelona World Mobile Communications Conference in 2026. The collaboration will cover mobile communications, cloud technology, and wireless access network and packet core network-related computing power capabilities driven by artificial intelligence, as well as platform-level security and network functions, to help enhance ecosystem empowerment and accelerate the market launch of cloud-native solutions.
