Recently, in response to the possible impact of the situation in Iran and the Middle East on travel plans, Ctrip platform has set up a special team to follow the latest developments. Ctrip stated that for hotel bookings in multiple Middle Eastern countries made before 5 pm on February 28th and for travel dates from February 28th to March 5th, the platform has activated a safeguard to cover cancellation losses for users who need to cancel, in collaboration with merchants. As for flights, as of 11 am on March 1st, domestic airlines including Air China, China Eastern Airlines, Hainan Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, China Southern Airlines, and Sichuan Airlines have released special handling plans for flights to the Middle East. We will synchronize policies in real time to assist passengers who need to make changes or cancellations. Currently, relevant policies from domestic and foreign airlines are still being announced. Ctrip will continue to closely monitor policy and situation developments, synchronize relevant policies in a timely manner, and ask all passengers to pay attention to information on airline company websites or the Ctrip Travel app. Regarding travel and vacation products, for departures from February 28th to before March 14th, in the event that users of Ctrip travel products are unable to travel to their destination or are detained due to canceled flights or other reasons caused by the situation, Ctrip will activate the "Major Disaster Travel Experience Guarantee Fund" for protection. The fund will cover cancellation losses for orders that cannot be traveled, and subsidies for accommodation expenses incurred during the delay period will be provided according to the agreement of the disaster experience guarantee fund.
