Supreme People's Procuratorate: Severe crackdown on illegal acts such as mixing adulteration and false propaganda that harm farmers.

At the press conference, Shi Weizhong, a member of the Party Group and Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, introduced that the procuratorial organs have been actively participating in the special campaign to combat counterfeit agricultural inputs, focusing on key agricultural input products such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, veterinary drugs, and mulch film. They have been harshly cracking down on illegal activities such as mixing and counterfeiting, false advertising, and other actions that harm farmers. From January to November 2025, a total of 106 cases involving agricultural input crimes with 134 individuals were arrested, and 192 cases with 409 individuals were prosecuted. Among them, 11 cases involving the production and sale of counterfeit pesticides, veterinary drugs, fertilizers, and seeds resulted in the arrest of 14 individuals, and 23 cases with 3 individuals were prosecuted.
